About Me

Born in Lahore, Pakistan, I came to the UK as 6-year-old for medical treatment with my dad. We hoped to return within 6 months but due to unforeseen circumstances we couldn’t. We left behind Mum, two sisters and a brother.

Growing up without my Mum I turned to food as comfort. I binge ate for over 5 years. This resulted in weight gain, low self-esteem, lack of confidence and lots of guilt and shame. I didn’t realise how quickly my mental and physical health spiralled out of control.

There was a period of my life when I had depression for 5 years, attempted suicide 3 x and questioned my life purpose. I doubted whether my existence had meaning and couldn’t understand why life was so hard. I also developed dissociation in 2012 and have learnt to live with it since then.

Weightlifting, setting boundaries & self-care saved my life (and sanity).

Today I empower others to become their strongest selves through strength training via online coaching, personal training and group boxing.

Qualifications and Experience

YMCA L3 Diploma in Gym Instructing and Personal training (Practitioner)
HFE L3 Diploma in Exercise Referral
YMCA Padwork for small group
British Red Cross First Aid at Work

3 years personal training and online coaching experience. Currently providing personal training in Pools on the Park in Richmond.
