Hatha Yoga is practised at a slow pace, focusing on breathing techniques, maintaining physical postures, stretching and proper alignment. If you're new to yoga, a slow-paced style with a relaxed learning environment may be right for you. This class will help you build strength through poses like downward dog and tree poses while helping you maintain proper alignment. Stretching is also encouraged so your body can become more flexible on your journey towards yoga bliss! Trainify's Yoga teachers in London will help you achieve your wellness goals.
Vinyasa yoga is a very dynamic style that combines physical work with the work of the mind due to the need to match the breath with each movement made in the session. This type of yoga is often referred to as “flow” yoga because it feels like you are moving through your poses effortlessly. Vinyasa helps you connect with your body and focus on your breath, which can help you feel more energised and relaxed throughout the practice. Vinyasa yoga is perfect for people who want a challenging workout but want to improve their focus and concentration.
Ashtanga is a powerful yoga style that intensely works the body and mind. It's a physical, demanding style that offers little room for rest and requires the practitioner to achieve many dynamic sequences in which the body must flow quickly from one posture to the other. In Ashtanga, you'll work your body hard in standing postures, on the ground, flexion, torsion, extension and even some inverted postures. If you're looking for an intense yoga style that will challenge your body and mind, then Ashtanga is the perfect option!

If you're new to yoga, it's important to select a program that is right for you. There are different styles and levels of yoga available, so it's important to find one that will fit your needs and goals. Talking with your coach about your needs and goals is also a good idea.
It's always a good idea to be prepared for your session. That means bringing a mat, towel, and water bottle (or any other props you may need). Some of our coaches can provide some helpful props if necessary, but we recommend bringing your own ones for hygienic reasons. Props are not required for all types of yoga, but they can be helpful for certain poses. Make sure you ask your coach what props you need to bring for the type of yoga you will practise.
Yoga is not recommended if you are pregnant. There are several poses and techniques that can be potentially dangerous for pregnant women, including those involving backbends or headstands. Three months after when you become pregnant, you can begin taking pregnancy-related classes (such as pre/postnatal yoga) but always check with your doctor first. Tell the teacher about any medical conditions that you have before class starts so they're aware of them and can make appropriate adjustments during the class.
To become a yoga teacher at Trainify, you will need to apply. Please fill out the form available on our website and we'll get back to you as soon as possible!
