Alleyn's School is located on Townley Road and is among the top HMC coed day schools in the nation, with a history of over 400 years. Alleyn’s School is home to a swimming pool of generous sizes: 25 meters in length, 10 meters in width, a deep end of 2 meters and a total swimmable area of 250 m2. Alleyn's School is a thriving, coed, independent day school with over 1,300 students in grades 4 through 18. One of the best co-educational schools in the nation, Alleyn's is a member of the Dulwich Foundation and is located in the heart of Dulwich, close to the centre of London. The school is also known for being gender equal, being one of the first boys-only schools in England to accept girls as Sixth Form in 1975 and two years later as students in all areas of the school.
