Balham Leisure Centre is located on Elmfield Road and is the right place to go to if you wish to pursue a fitness journey and want to make sure you are training with the best. They are enthusiastic about promoting your emotional and physical well-being via exercise, sport, and wellbeing. Their goal is to create "active places and healthy people" with all of their heart and soul; it's about making a place for everyone. The centre is home to a gym, swimming pool, studio, squash court, sauna and a health suite. There is also a steam room that is at the moment closed, but is being worked on and will reopen as soon as possible. The swimming pool is 25 meters long, 10 meters wide, the deep end at 1.8 meters and the shallow end at 1 meter, with a total swimmable area of 205 m2. The centre is proud to offer as additional amenities: accessible entrance, accessible changing, accessible toilets, swimming lessons, advanced swimming lessons and aquatics fitness sessions. So, no matter if you are a beginner or an advanced person, this centre is eagerly waiting to push you in the right direction when it comes to your wellness.
