Bishops Park

Bishops Park lies beside the River Thames. The beautiful grounds are Grade II listed, popular with many visitors. Facilities include playgrounds for children, a skate park, a lake, outdoor table tennis tables, a court for basketball, a sculpture garden and miles of expansive green grounds! It's also home to Winnington Bowls Club and Bishops Tennis centre (Rocks Lane). Open every day from 10am to 7pm with a later close in the spring-summer months. This community-style park also has yearly events, such as a fireworks display in November and boat race in March, there's also a foods market. To get here, take a bus to Fulham Palace Road, buses 74, 220, 430, just a short walk away. Or your nearest station is Putney Bridge underground.
