Brixton Recreation Centre is located on 27 Brixton Station Road and it houses three pools. The main one is 25 meters long, 12 meters wide, with a shallow end of 0.9 meters, a deep end of 1.9 meters and a swimmable area of 300 square meters. The learner’s pool is 12 meters long, 10 meters wide, with a shallow end of 0.9 meters, a deep end of 0.9 meters and a swimmable area of 120 square meters. There is another learner’s pool which is 16 meters long, 11.5 meters wide, with a shallow end of 0.7 meters, a deep end of 0.7 meters and a swimmable area of 184 square meters. The venue offers Accessible Entrance, Accessible Changing, Accessible Toilets, Pre-School Swimming Lessons, Aquatics Fitness Sessions and Under 5s Fun. At the Brixton Recreation Centre, you may participate in a wide variety of activities besides swimming, from badminton and basketball to fitness programs. Throughout the course of the week, participants may sign up for a variety of aerobics classes, including those that focus on group riding. For children, they provide a program that teaches them how to swim as well as a gymnastics program. There are a variety of activities geared at adults that may be booked, including squash, table tennis, badminton, netball, and volleyball, to name a few.
