Sylvestrian Leisure Centre, located on College Place, Snaresbrook, London, E17 3PY, offers to the public two swimming pools, the main general one which is 25 meters long, 13 meters wide, is recommended for swimmers with a little bit of experience, as the depth of the pool goes from 1.2 meters to 2.2 meters.
The second pool is designed for learning and teaching, or training. It’s 10 meters long and 7 meters wide, the depth goes from 0.6 meters to 0.8 meters. Ideal for children, this pool is only 70 square meters.
The four court Sports Hall can cater every indoor sport and all equipment is provided: football, volleyball, tennis, short tennis, badminton, netball, hockey, basketball, wheelchair basketball and cricket. Other fun activities available include trampolining, rounders, quick cricket.
The main swimming pool has restrictions imposed by the local planning authority limiting the use to staff, students and youth organisations. We do not operate public swim sessions. Therefore, in order to enjoy this swimming pool, you need to make a booking in advance.
