Wimbledon High School is located on Mansel Road, Wimbledon and is a girl-only pastoral school that aims to prepare young girls for a life of opportunities. WHS has been preparing girls to enter the world and make a difference since 1880. They are immensely proud of both their history and status as a GDST beacon school. Whether girls enroll in these programs at the age of 4, 11, or 16, they prepare them from the start for the challenges of modern life by encouraging problem-solving and creative thinking abilities, cooperation, and independent inquiry. They are enabling young people to discover who they are as unique individuals, to find the inner compass that will guide them through life's ups and downs, and to learn to use their voices for the power of good through our Wimbledon High community, wonderfully rich co-curricular programs, partnerships, and the pastoral care that underpins everything they do. The school has a swimming pool that is 25 meters long, 10 meters wide, has a deep end of 2 meters and a shallow end of 1 meter, with a total swimmable area of 250 m2.
