High intensity interval Training (HIIT) is a short, sharp workout designed to get you maximal results in the minimal amount of time. The session will involve short, but intense bouts of exercise, with rest in-between. Done properly, HIIT training can offer similar results seen in a lower intensity 1 hour session, in half the time. We’ve all been in that place, you’re dreading a workout because it just takes too long. Well HIIT training is for you. Push your body to the max, but be done in a fraction of the time. We know that not everyone has the time to spend doing hours of low intensity cardio, so our HIIT classes can offer similar results in a shorter time frame.
There is no denying it, HIIT workouts are tough and not for the faint hearted. HIIT training is a brilliant way to push your body for maximal. HIIT workouts can be done in a variety of ways, but we find that the simplest formats are the best. We keep the exercises simple so that you can focus on the output and working to your max. All too often in HIIT classes, they start out intense, but as we get tired, the exercises become too difficult and we just can’t focus on the output. Therefore we keep it simple and focus on working hard.
