Physiotherapy is usually used when someone is returning from injury, to help the body and the muscles return back to their normal state. Physio uses different methods, such as manual therapy, where the physio will physically manipulate your body into positions to try and get it to adjust. Once you’re ready, you’ll be able to progress to light bodyweight movements. As your body grows stronger, you can ultimately progress back to regular training in the gym or activity that you enjoy.
